The tough economic times that hit extremely Greece, among other Southern European countries, has inspired Thessaloniki-born helmer Syllas Tzoumerkas, whose sophomore film, ‘A Blast,’ a Greece-Germany-Netherlands co-production on a woman who decides to blow her whole life up in search of a new sense of self, world preems Tuesday (Aug. 12) at the Locarno Film Festival.
